In the consumer optics field, Optowide prioritizes its focus on the AR industry and has developed precision optical components and sub-assemblies such as X-cube/film PBS, reflective/diffractive optical waveguides, hybrid waveguides, and OLED light engines.
It has initially completed the R&D of AR nanoimprint diffractive waveguide films and light engine modules, with continuous product iteration. Small-batch production of AR light engines has been realized, forming vertical integrated solutions covering optical components, sub-assemblies to light engine modules.
AR is a key application sector of the new-generation information and communication technology. By leveraging technologies including near-eye display, perceptual interaction, rendering processing, network transmission, and content creation, it delivers immersive experiences with a sense of presence and virtual-real integration. Currently, the AR industry boasts great potential, wide technological span, and broad application space. As the integration of technology and industrial applications accelerates, the penetration rate of AR devices will further rise.
Optowide's products are applied in the micro-projection optical systems of AR glasses. They serve as key components enabling the miniaturization and high performance of AR glasses' optical display systems, meeting the requirements of near-eye display devices for beam modulation, field of view expansion, and eye box enlargement.
